Hand-in-Hand Texas Cardinal Pin

The Hand-in-Hand Texas Cardinal Pin was designed to represent our relationship with Canada, namely provinces of Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island, by using the United States and Canadian flags and the clasped hands of friendship. We still have some of these pins for sale ($5).

We are working diligently with members of the Eastern Star in both of these provinces to bring General Grand Chapter to Fort Worth, Texas, in 2012. Sister Rennie Ofton (Texas), serving as Right Worthy Associate Grand Matron and Brother Fred Clarke (Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island), serving as Right Worthy Associate Grand Patron for 2006-2009, will be installed as leaders of General Grand Chapter in 2009. They will culminate their years of service by presiding over the 2012 Triennial Assembly in Fort Worth, Texas, as Most Worthy Grand Matron and Most Worthy Grand Patron.

We are excited about this relationship with our new found friends and look forward to having Texas and Nova Scotia and Prince Edward Island members working together toward our Assembly in Fort Worth, Texas.
